Welcome to the 7-Day Self-Care Course
DAY FIVE – LOVING YOUR INNER CHILD
Let go of the past…
Today we’re taking the next step on your journey with Inner Child work. This is about honoring the child within and as an adult, making peace with the past so that you can move forward with love.
We all have stuff from the past in our lives, but it’s when you can leave it in the past that your future really begins to shift.
Day 5 Loving your Inner Child
Congratulations!!!
You’ve made it to day 5 and you’re almost through the other side.
When I first came up with this Self-Care Challenge I wanted something that would actually challenge you and move you through a tunnel and hold your hand while you came out the other side.
I’m really proud of you. Mirror work isn’t easy to do but it’s really powerful and you’ve begun so congratulations.
Today we’re taking the next step on your journey with Inner Child work. This is about honoring the child within and as an adult, making peace with the past so that you can move forward with love.
Everybody has a past.
We all have things we’d rather not have happened in the past or circumstances we regret. All of us have them. Every single one of us. I don’t say this so that your past becomes trivial, I say it so that you don’t feel alone or isolated or ashamed. You’re in safe company here.
Today is the day where you reconcile the past. Not love it, not even forgive it. But make peace with it for you. To pay homage to that inner child that suffered. To show here you care and that you’re there for her forever from now on.
Today you’re taking back your power.
That’s what inner child work is about. Reconciling the past in a powerful guided meditation that will allow you to begin afresh with a new perspective and outlook on life.
To love yourself right where you are now, knowing that nothing has gone wrong and you’re right where you’re supposed to be.
What to do now:
1. Watch Day 5 video
2. Participate in the Resolving the Past meditation at the end.
3. Write in your Success in Love Self-Care Journal for Day 5
